Welcome Back to the podcast! I’m still learning as I go with podcasting - literally just using my laptop, no special podcasting equipment. Also, working on some transition words because I like to add additional commentary as I read my post -
So, the blog post is the “scripted” part, the commentary is unscripted, and I DO not go back and edit the podcast.
In this episode, I’ll be sharing my Top Ten Things: New York City travel post.
I fell in love with NYC during my many visits there to see Elton John in concert. There’s just something about the energy there that I just LOVE!
Now, my travels there are for other concerts and Broadway shows as well as exploring some lesser-touristy areas.
And yes, I usually travel solo to The City - sometimes I meet up with friends from other States and sometimes I meet up with friends who live there but mostly, I’m solo.
And yes, people always say, “Oh my gosh, you walk around NYC all by yourself! Is that safe????” and my reply is always, “it’s a city that never sleeps, I’m never really “all by myself”. I mean, it’s not like I’m walking down back alleys and such - I stay on the main streets and pay attention to my surroundings.

What are your favorite things to do in NYC? I’d love to add them to my list!
